Some people study English because they like the English language. As to me myself, how much do I like the language, i.e., the English language per se??

The litmus for that could be to read an English document the content of which you're not interested in at all. If you find you're happy to read that, probably you like the language itself to the very extent.

Or you can ask: do you watch an English video the content of which you are not interested in? If you do, it might be that you like the English language very much.
